Entrepreneurship is more than just launching a business—it’s about nurturing ideas, empowering people, driving social impact, and advancing technologies. The University of Toronto Entrepreneurship (UTE) community exemplifies this mission, providing mentorship, expertise, resources, and strategic connections to help entrepreneurs at all stages start, build, and scale their ventures. From co-working spaces and intellectual property education to funding opportunities and accelerators, UTE connects innovators with the resources they need to succeed.

At CentML, a Toronto-based startup founded by Professor Gennady Peskhimento from the U of T, we’re proud to announce our participation in the UTE Startup Perks program. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to empowering other Canadian startups to thrive in a competitive, technology-driven landscape.

As part of the Startup Perks program, CentML provides U of T-affiliated startups with $500 in platform credits for AI development and deployment, using cutting-edge open-source models like Llama, DeepSeek, and Qwen.

Our mission at CentML is to make AI accessible, efficient, and impactful for everyone. By collaborating with UTE, we’re equipping Canadian startups with the tools they need to deploy AI solutions faster and more efficiently than ever before.

This partnership represents more than just a technical offering; it’s a shared commitment to fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Canada. By enabling startups to leverage the power of AI, we’re fueling a wave of breakthrough technologies that will shape the future of industries across the globe. Together, we’re accelerating the pace of innovation and shaping the future of entrepreneurship in Canada.

“At CentML, we’re honored to contribute to the success of UTE’s dynamic community and are excited to see the transformative ideas that emerge from this partnership.” – Professor Gennady Pekhimento, CEO/Co-Founder of CentML and head of the UofT EcoSystems research group
