Leading Compiler Engineer and Researcher Tatiana Shpeisman Joins CentML as Director of Engineering

Tatiana brings more than two decades of experience in groundbreaking compiler development to the CentML team.

Tatiana Shpeisman Joins the CentML Team as Director of Engineering

The CentML team is thrilled to welcome Tatiana Shpeisman as Director of Engineering, Compiler. Tatiana’s contributions to the ML and AI sectors have been nothing short of transformative. We are excited to work with her as we drive machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) innovation to new heights.

Most recently, Tatiana directed the development of AI system performance solutions at Modular. There, she helped pioneer solutions that integrated compilers with hardware and runtimes to create scalable, high-performance AI systems. Previously, during her tenure at Google, she co-founded the MLIR (Multi-Level Intermediate Representation) project, leading next-generation compiler infrastructure for TensorFlow on both CPU and GPU. At Google, Tatiana was instrumental in the evolution of TensorFlow’s compiler infrastructure, ensuring optimized performance across CPU and GPU platforms.

These recent achievements were built on her foundational work at Intel Labs. At Intel, Tatiana drove the development of programming models for heterogeneous systems, leading groundbreaking research in transactional memory and parallel programming. Her leadership in the industry, which spans more than two decades, includes directing Intel’s efforts to improve the programmability and performance of traditional and emerging hardware platforms.

Please join us in welcoming Tatiana Shpeisman and stay tuned for more updates from the CentML team!
